how did he/she react? What did you give him/her?

I'll start,

I gave my T a bracelet and earrings that I made for her. She loved them and spontaneously, without my asking for it, got up and hugged me

If you gave your T a present....

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Lauru...you make jewelry too, huh? I like meeting fellow artisans! I posted my story in a previous thread:

I gave my T a framed New Yorker cartoon. not a "real" one for a couple hundred bucks and signed by the artist, just one cut out from the magazine! I browse thru them in his waiting room, yes reading the cartoons first, this one had special meaning for him, from September. big hug.

Last year for my T's birthday I gave her a collage I made. She loved it and hung it up on her wall. I also bought us matching stuffed bears, and she put hers where I can see it every week. When I give her cookies or other baked goods, she always tells me how much she likes them. She loves my poems too. In other words, she's very appreciative of my gifts to her.

A few years back, I gave my T a very nice figurine that was symbolic of our relationship. He totally got the symbolism right away which was cool. He keeps it on his bookshelf along with gifts/tokens from other patients.
