Well, she replied!... but I'm too scared and embarrassed and freaked out to read it right now I keep telling myself she's probably upset...

Ugh. Watch this whole thing turn into one giant huge false alarm.. but I'm still not ready yet. I hate that I always react this way...

I'm sorry I'm such a wuss!

It probably will, eventually (if she really isn't mad), but knowing myself I first need to get my complicated freak-out process out of the way. I'll give it a few hours.

Yep, sometimes you just need to freak. Makes sense to me. We'll be here when you're ready.

I can't believe you're able to wait so long without reading it. usually I feel some dread but I'm too dang nosy to avoid it for long.
Thanks for this!

Pbutton, I am over here thinking the same thing. If curiosity killed the cat, I'd already be down 9 lives and more. I really want to know!

My irrational fear needs a little liquid courage later tonight for me to be able to read it (I just want the blow to be soft in case it is a negative message )

..Yeah, I'm neurotic like that.

i totally, TOTALLY get it. especially the whole liquid courage thing. although i would have sneaked a peek by now to at least find out the length of the email and look for key words that stand out. i'm so unbelievably neurotic and obsessive about this stuff, so know that you're not alone.

i'm just as anxious as the others to find out how it goes!!! let us know

Wow, thanks! I really thought I was just being weird as usual

I know that if I were to sneak a peek, I'd be unable to hold back and just read it all ...so yeah, none of that

Here it is!

Dear Screenager,

everything's okay. I'm very busy now so shortly before my vacation, but I would have replied today at the latest anyway.

So unfortunately I can just give you this short feedback: It's completely right to write about your feelings and thoughts. And it's good to have feelings, even if they hurt or are uncomfortable sometimes.

Be strong, and see you on the 5th.

Your
T

So yay, she's not mad!
(Though I have to say that this cryptic "Feelings are okay" seems to be all she ever writes in response to something like this. But let's focus on the good things )
Thanks for this!

Seriously, don't overanalyze it! It sounds very positive to me. I'm so glad you got a response and that it was positive!!

Screenager- Yay! :-) I totally understand every feeling you went through..I feel the exact same when I am waiting for an e-mail from her.

avoice- I am glad that the way your T worked worked for you. I used to think that I would like that, too..but my T is so super generous with her time, it makes me uncomfortable, but also makes me let someone in to "care" more..which is actually a good thing..I did not like taking her time at first but now I really appreciate it. I hope if you decide you need/want something more, you are able to find that too..

It's not my thread, but I don't understand your comment. Why would someone get hurt from that response? I'm not trying to be snotty, I just don't get it.

Yay! I'm glad everything's good. It's too bad she couldn't give a more detailed response, but I'm sure you'll talk it all over when she gets back (which I know you are not nervous about at all ). The important thing is, she knows what you feel, and it's all good .
Thanks for this!
