Dude. Sometimes I wish my mum was a blank slate. She's more an angry kind of.. slate...
 My T isn't exactly doing the blank slate thing, she does disclose some - but I'd still be interested to hear more. I think it's natural to want to know about the people we consider important to us, no matter how well we were brought up or how well we know/knew our parents. (But I do appreciate these little 'SPECULATION:' & 'FANTASY:' vignettes  )

Dude. Usually I love your speculations.
This time, I wanna say, not so much. though it is intriguing! I think the reason that I don't like the blank slate t's is because I mirror people so easily, and with a blank slate...I end up...feeling blank. Therapy for me requires interaction, reaction, synthesis change and I have a hard time doing that in front of blankness. It's kind of a chicken and egg thing but just never hatched for me. Yes, I appreciate your speculations. Keep them coming! |

My T is a blank slate to the max (and it bugs me enormously), and I have blank slate parents. Sucks to be me.
