So I've been overanalyzing my last session. It was quite literally silent after her opening dialogue (I guess some would call it ice breaking). She had the "I have something to talk about" from the email. I didn't tell her what it was in the email (ughh why NOT). So she mentioned, said email and I was very much like

Do they have "silence class" in T school. Where they sit for an entire hour just looking interested and concerned at each other but being unable to make noise? |

I think that they must train for this!! It's human nature to want to fill the silence.
She wanted to "make room" in case you did want to talk. Love the part about the clock not even ticking. Been there!! One T even ran over our time to give me a chance to talk but I couldn't. |

i want to be a fly on the wall during silence class; although maybe they'd spot me by the tiny humming noise I made
![]() My experience of T's and silence has been ... very different. One is quiet and lets me be silent or asks if it's ok for him to talk; another HATES HATES HATES the silence and will use all kinds of tactics to try and get me to speak |
