Today session was great. It was my first session in over 10 days which is extremely long for me. I go every Mon and Thurs. Anway he started off the session jokingly telling me how I survived. I replied barely and only because I didn't have a choice.
 AFTER I blurted out I missed you SOO much!!  Then in all seriousness he told me he chose not to respond to all my emails because he wanted me to feel like I could make it through the week without him. I did thank him for all his responses, he was after all on vacation, and he didn't have to respond at all.  He began to address the issues, the most pressing would be my first day of school tonight. He was so supportive and caring and confident in me, I can't even explain it. He said I was in a much better place now than I was last time I tried school, and that he believes in me. I told him I was too scared to go tonight, and he asked why, and I stopped to think and he said no stop you are just going to make up reasons, you don't have any this time. I had to laugh, he had caught me.  He explained to me why I am looking to him to be a father figure, and why it is safe to allow myself to. That because all of those previous relationships were unsafe and because he is recreating it in a safe way that it is what is to be expected and he totally understands, and as long as I understand that he is NOT my father than it perfectly fine. That it is exactly why he tries so hard to be the one thing that remains the same and true and safe no matter what is going on in my life.  Overall the session went great. It was so great to reconnect with him. To get his advice, and to listen to his calm voice. I'm so happy he's back.

This is so cuddly sweet. Sometimes my T just feels like a warm blanket. Then we both start crying! I'm so happy for you.

So I emailed him like a hour ago, and asked him to say something to help me not back out on going to my first day of school tonight, because I am so scared. He simply said. "I believe in you."
I love my T. He is so perfect for me. I'm anxiously awaiting for class to start in 30 minutes.

I know I've said it before, but your T sounds so nice and like a great therapist :-) Good luck! What are you going to school for, if you don't mind me asking?
