I think my title describes everything perfectly right now. AND I called my T for the first time ever, and he never called back. And I said in the voicemail that I was having a meltdown. Now that he never called, I feel even more alone and stupid for even calling him, thinking he cared. I guess it's back to square one now.

I know that feeling! No great words of wisdom, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone...
Thanks for this!

sorry you are having a hard time...maybe he is out & not near his phone to check his messages, or doing something involved with his kids or something...as crappy as that sounds...they have lives too & not always attached to their phones for messages from clients 24/7.

if you told him to get back to you & that is his policy i am sure he will as soon as he gets the message & can.

maybe since it is the first time you called him he was waiting until he had some time to properly manage the situation rather than just dealing with it quickly...you never know...t's hyave lives too...mine has 4 kids & at nites sometimes she spends time running them around from practice to rehearsals, to jobs and making dinners etc. they get caught up in their lives as well...so while we think our crisis is the end of everything they have stuff going on..it's not that your stuff isn't important but in order for them to treat us as they can & be there for all their patients they do need to care for their families etc too.

be patient...give him some time. make yourself some dinner, take a bath, read, have some tea, what ever...try to calm yourslef down by doing something soothing.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for this, Stumpy. I tried to think of logical reasons as to why he never called back, but idk. He takes clients until like 8 and I figured he would check his voice mail after his last client since I left the voice mail on his office machine. But I guess not? Ugh. I just feel horrible, I can't even describe it. I feel like I won't even go back next week if I don't hear from him.
