Good luck with your appointment Chopin. As far as work goes, I'm sure once you get there you will find something to do-there is ALWAYS something to do. Or not, then you can hang on the couch here today. I have work at 12-till about 5 or so. I think when I get paid tomorrow I will go buy a new pair of converse. Shopping therapy is good therapy if you spend wisely.
Thanks for this!

It's already after 3 here, LC! But I guess I could turn back time and join you

Managed to get some studying in this morning, then went to a free knitting class and learnt to crotchet- good fun Must now end my very leisurely lunch break and drag myself back to Starbucks for more studying. Definitely feels less painful than all the other days this week though, thank goodness. See you all later

Enjoy the rest of the day Improving, I love studying....if you mow my yard I'll study for ya....lol I'm happy with the decisions I have made today, I will be productive and kind to myself. When my life gets chaotic , I have a very deep almost primal need to organize and clean my physical surroundings. No doubt to regain control from the inside out...anywho...step one, the house...two family...three work. I need to post about my last session too. I cancelled today, but yesterday was amazing....I need to process this. I have a deep seated fear that people on the boards don't like me. I am a very long winded over-poster who no one cares to hear about, you know? Boundaries... My main issue...I could ask T, he is so amazing. He knows about the boards and said I can say whatever I want about him and he would never look, nor care to look... He said it was Theraputic for me. I even referenced PC yesterday and he understood. See there I go again diarrhea of the mouth

sorry... I'll be leaving the couch in a second, pay no attention to the girl dressed in yard clothes re-stringing the weedeater.

Another weird and
embarrassing
thing is, I have a cleaning lady, once a week very inexpensive ...nice lady with a family.
she is here, this is the 3rd time this has occurred recently.... 2 times I was sick...today we are interacting and - MKAC, Stopdog, Chopin, Hankster and a few others if anyone has read this far...I know you can appreciate this...her english is not very good and the situation is ackward as she obviously knows I am a lesbian and has met my partner. I mean she folds our underwear! I am also pretty sure she has found items of interest, that run on batteries

I wonder if they make Imodium for the mouth? My partner and I are talking again , really talking and this weekend will be the perfect time to rebond with the kids and her. Thanks for reading or skimming..I'll continue re-stringing this damn weedeater and get my booty off the couch ...time to take control of things, one weed at a time !

LC I can't speak for others but I enjoy reading your posts and following your journey. It's sometimes a good idea to take a break and get regrouped. Good luck with the weedeater I hate restringing those things.

I'm have a pretty awesome day right now. I managed to do a full rotation on the bike at Physio and I have decided in a few months to move across the country. The details still need to be worked out but I'm gonna ride this high while it lasts.

Have a great day everyone!

I need to curl up on the couch for a few minutes to try to get my head together to write this appellate brief for a piece of crap person that I hate. Don't mind me. I just need a corner and a pillow to put over my head for a few minutes.

Keep reading my boundaries posts. I'm going to start posting them in the "Christian Women's Support Group". I might post an edited version here. That book has a lot of practical advice on top of the faith-based stuff. I'm on chapter 3 and already learned a ton!

I suggest we not turn this into the self doubt/loathing thread.
Weed whacking, shopping, drinking and germy couch sitting thread is much more fun. (with me in a chair)

You don't have mimosa's in England?

Champagne and orange juice, usually served in the morning or midday. Simple and good!

My response to those men who say "I never saw a girl do X" or words to that
is usually "Well, today you saw a woman do it"

I can lift things my son (who actually has a whole class for weight lifting in high school) and my husband cannot. I had a blow out on my F250 (so THERE, Lola), and my husband came to help me change the tire. I ended up being the one breaking loose the stuck lug nut, and the one who lifted the huge, heavy spare back onto the truck. Yeah, thanks for the help, Honey.

At one field trip when my son was in middle school, he and his friends were struggling to carry this big tub with all of the sack lunches in it. They set it down to rest, and I picked it up to see how heavy it was, and ended up carrying it by myself the rest of the way into the zoo. One of my son's friends commented, "Man, your mom is CRAZY STRONG!" Yep. That's me. Crazy. Strong.

What can I say I am what I am...plus straight woman are drawn to the soft butch Lola and she likes it that way....LoL

The butchest thing i have done was to go to rigs and help string tools as they trip pipe. I'd drag tools down the catwalk and up or down the v door. In the rim at night during a lightnight and thunderstorm. Hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, coveralls and gloves. Radiation badge too. Lol....all with my nail polish on. Pardon the vulgarity........

But I had a stiffy that night. Too much info again huh? I need you all to be honest... Boundaries remember...maybe I should be a boundary buddy with Chopin and we could work the book together....perhaps I should have sent that in an im. Reminds me of Sweeny Todd , " Mrs. Lovett ! what a charming notion...Eminatly practical yet appropriate as always....

That's gotta be my new line...

Yep...that's hot! I've always identified more androgynous, but dress femme now most of the time for work or going out. I loved being a boi though. Kinda miss it, now that I think about it. I oughta show up for T one day totally butch. Freak her conservative @$$ out!

And I love seeing y'all fight over who has the bigger truck. I've driven two trucks in my life, but they were compact trucks (an S-10 and a Colorado). See...just a "little" butch.

I had a guy in a little truck pull up next to me one time at a store. As I was getting into my big-***** truck, the guy says, "What do you think it says about you, that a little girl like you is driving such a big truck?" I said, "What do you think it says about YOU, that it bothers you that I'm driving such a big truck?" Gave him a big wicked smile and drove off.

I do try to wear a little make up and leave my flannel shirt at home when I'm driving my F250. Luckily, we live near a military town, so people don't assume that my really short hair, lack of make-up, jeans and T-shirt uniform MEAN anything in particular.

I use my bike mostly. Never wanted a truck - it would have been used to help all my friends move. (not so much now that we are old - but in younger times...)

Old Joke (explanation for those who are not GLBT) - what do lesbians bring to the second date?

My T is curious about my cross dressing, hardworking YAVIS Monday thru Thursday, Soft butch in jeans cowboy boots and a ball cap Friday through Sunday and all nights. I tried to post a pic but I can't figure out how to do it from an iPad.
