So yesterday, I emailed my psychologist asking if I could come in next week even though I saw her this week (I normally see her every two weeks). She just emailed back and said she doesn't have anything open.
![]() She did say she was glad I asked as it shows her I really want to tackle the issues/concerns I mentioned (copy of a letter I sent to my pdoc) to her earlier. She also said if something opened up, she would let me know. There's just something deep inside that is telling me she is avoiding me and is lying. So, frustrating. |

It is very hard to trust. But you can do it!

How can she be avoiding you if she is seeing you the next week anyway?
I think it is a reaction from asking her and the compliments she gave you in her reply. There might be the feeling, too, if you are ready she should be ready, "Open sesame" should open the door!

I know -- it is SO hard to ignore that pull towards the negative. You can do this.

I'm going to guess she's not avoiding you. It sucks that you are ready and she is not available though.
For my t, I have to schedule appointments at least a month in advance because she gets booked up so fast, so your t is probably really just that busy |

I am "better" now. I always jump to irrational conclusions when I don't think things through. I remembered later that she is only in 2 days a week, so her schedule probably does fill up quickly. Now to wish (or pray) that someone cancels, so I can have their slot.
