I was emailing with T last week, and one of her replys really made me feel her desire to care, to help. She started off her reply yo me by saying she didn't feel I had "done this or that" ( left out real words there) then she said "no that's not what I want to say at all, I want to say that I don't expect you to feel or be any other way then you are". That flowing consciousness in her reply filled me with a warm glow, I think because it showed she had put real genuine thought into the email. Those few lines meant a lot to me.

that is beautiful. and as my T would say, it is just like you to notice that! not everyone would. I notice when I get a "real" written sentence back, not just a rehash of the words I sent him, although I appreciate both. They both have their function. Thanks for sharing this with us. I love these nuances that really mean so much.
