To find a DBT skills group in NYC?

I've only found like two. They don't accept any insurance and there really expensive. This is so frustrating.

Sorry, how frustrating :-( I went to one through the Payne Whitney clinic at NY Presbyterian, although it was several years ago.

Hope you find one soon.

Does that include Long Island?

I did a Google search on "DBT group" "New York" and found:

* Hi, my name is David Bergstein and I lead the groups. I love teaching DBT skills dbtskillsgroup@verizon.net

* The American Institute for Cognitive Therapy 136 East 57th Street, Suite 1101 New York City, New York

* Long Island DBT Group 1025 Northern Blvd Suite 201. Roslyn , NY

* Pauline.Prin@Verizon.net DBT and Post-DBT groups in New York

* DBT Associates, a DBT Consultation Team based in the New York/New Jersey area

* Madison County Mental Health Department

Actually, you have a point. That's not really that many, and some of these will be out of range.

I wonder, did David Bergstein choose DBT simply to match his own initials?

DBT: David Bergstien, Therapist.

Your therapist doesn't have any referrals? Try him, he'll know what to do.
