For the past three months, I have had to see my pdoc every two weeks. She schedules me with each little change of medications. Is this normal for everyone? I am so tired of taking off from work for pdoc and t appointments. All I can figure is that the pdoc is concerned that I will tamper with my dosages because I have done this a couple of times before; however, I would never mess with any meds, like lamictal, that have major side effects. Plus, now that the meds are working, I have better control over my impulses. Maybe I'll ask her next time if this is the case.

It probably is the med changes, but every two weeks still seems really frequent. Ask her if she can space your visits further apart.

I used to see one of my doctors about every two weeks. Now that my medications are fairly stable, I see her once every two or three months. So I think that it's ok to do that. Or not abnormal.

When I saw a pdoc, I went for the initial visit, one month later, and every 3 months after that for 2 years, but I stabilized on meds quickly.
A friend of mine who is having trouble with med dosages sees pdoc once a month.
