Miss old T and I hate it. Just started seeing a new T that I'm very unsure of. One more thing to add to the pile.

Ending with old T didn't happen unexpectedly it happened first by me deciding she had done all for me that she could - skill wise - I need/ed someone who specializes in trauma to bring me to the next level - unfortunately old T doesn't specialize in that . I felt so comfortable with old T and I'm going through a really hard time right now. It's so hard not seeing her. I always felt comfort in her presence.

I've been in contact with old T via email to find names of other potential therapists as I haven't made a decision about the new T yet but haven't talked about anything other than that. She still helps me in that respect and her door is always open to me and I love her and I'm so thankful for that.

I feel like I'm falling apart. I feel like I'm crumbling into nothingness.

Grieving is a slow process. Even if by choice, leaving someone you are attached to is hard and takes time. I hope the sense of loss starts to ebb for you soon. I suggest trying to be gentle with yourself and letting yourself take the time you need. It is hard that for so many painful things, time seems to be the biggest factor in easing it.
