I'm a 21 year old model, 4 months in with a psychiatrist. In our third session he came alive. Not meaning to be vain, I have a smile that people stare at and then say I'm so beautiful eugh, and pervy men make noises at me when seeing it in the past *rolls eyes*. My psyche sort of yelped in a sort of mmmm way after seeing me smile at one of his jokes...

He takes his time to fetch me from the waiting room, but on our fourth session he was out asking his sec if I was here 15 minutes early (i saw him through the door where he saw me and told me to go round as it was a locked back entrance) He fetched me from the waiting room 10 mins early. He was glowing throughout, left his macbook aside which he normally types on. He also kept calling us 'we' alot, and was insanely friendly and delirious, but professional in discussion. He brings up my unresolved sex issues from childhood a lot, but when i bring up other things he doesnt really go far with it. Is he just being nice and am i being paranoid??

I'd say trust your intuition on this. If it doesn't feel right or you feel uncomfortable by his behaviour you have a right to leave. It might be that he finds you attractive but those are his feelings to work through and shouldn't impact on your work together. Maybe he is just being friendly and professional so you could give it longer but do trust yourself if something feels off.

yes, thing is i only get to see him every 4.5 weeks, so it takes forever and its playing on my mind.

i also think i want him to be attracted. this means that im not using the therapy like i should to work through the sexual problems i have, i mgiht assume hes just flirting but hes trying to help! i need to give a little more next time i see him
