So my current therapist (to be fair I should just call him *my therapist*) is out of town. I would have never guessed this, but I miss him. It's like my brain said "Surprise!"

I should not be *that* surprised though. He's a good person - kind. When super cognitive behaviourist doesn't show up he's actually a sponge for the big feelings I have about relocating and the loss of my old therapist. He's helping with that a lot.

He also understands completely about the disconnect I feel with people. It's hard with my background to NOT always feel like you are lying in some way.

With my friends at home absolutely no one gave a crap (and I mean that in a good way). They were like "dude, no biggee, you rock". It took years to develop that kind of trust and sense of family.

Right now, I guess, he's that sort of family in a therapy kind of way.

Sigh. He'll be back - they always come back. I just miss them both.

I hate it when Ts go on holidays, it sucks. I hope you have a way to distract yourself while T is away.

My T is on holiday this week.
A chance to practice what I've learned, perhaps.
