I would look for a therapist that is a better fit for you rather than just give up. I know my therapist has done wonders for me, it's a long and painful process but can give a person some really wonderful results.

It definitely can be a waste if you don't feel you're getting what you want from Therapy, especially if you don't feel like you're being heard.

I agree with Mike - maybe another therapist, one that connects with you and hears you would be a better fit.

How long have you been with this T? Does she know how you feel? Does she just ignore you when you reach out, or is she slow to respond?

I do believe there are times when the end is reached. Can you find another T who can pick up where that T left off?
