I have found myself in a situation where I would like a little more from my T, specifically I would like the 2 of us to sit closer. No contact needed or wanted but just need a little more connection. I have been told that there is a mutual attachment, but I have such a fear of rejection. And I really need the extra support . Thoughts? Ideas?

I'd bring it up in session. "Can we possibily sit closer?" I often move around my office depending on what my client needs.
Thanks for this!

I once asked my T. if we could sit on the same wall... we had an open chair between us... usually we sit about 5 feet apart with him sitting facing me... it helped me feel closer to him and also cause I didn't want to have to think about him looking at me.

He moved his chair for me.
Thanks for this!
