I had a great session today and really made progress, it took a lot out of me but that means it's working so i don't mind. Even he noticed that i took a huge risk talking to him today and told me he was so proud and never thought i'd get to this point, this year anyway. Made me laugh i told him if he ever wants me to do something that will help but i don't want to, tell me that because i will go out and do it. Reverse psychology really works with me.
Anyway half way through he tells me we have 1 more session until he is away for 2 weeks and i was like wow...that's great you look like you need a holiday listening to me once a week as a joke and he just laughed, i can't believe how well i reacted! I'd usually gone into melt down but i just got it. Progress!

That's great! I love when we can see actual progress, since it so often doesn't appear that we're making any. I hope your T's holiday goes quickly for you.

My T is on vacation this week and I'm actually managing a lot better than I thought I would. I see him twice/week, so I'm not used to going a whole week, let alone more than that.

That's awesome! Next time someone is lamenting not making progress and thinking they are never going to get better, please be sure to give them this information and point them to this thread! You have made HUGE progress is such a short time! Good for you.
