Spinoff from another thread due to a mention of a T who looks like Jon Stewart. I am so jealous.

I need some time to decide who my T looks like.

I am not even sure I know off the top of my head what Jon Stewart looks like. I am fairly certain the one I see does not look like anyone famous that I also know of because I can't remember what she looks like. She does have a picture on the therapy website - and if I look at it - I am always a little surprised like oh right - that is who she is.

Yeah, it's my T who looks almost exactly like Jon Stewart. Which is unfortunate for me, because I think Jon Stewart is totally hot.

LOL Jon Stewart WOULD make a handsome woman!
Mine says he's been told he looks like Al Pacino. We make a great therapy couple, because I look like Marlon Brando, the later years.
Current pdoc - some cute young French actress.

Maybe we can "reframe" the question.

When they make the movie of your life, who would you cast to play the role of your T?

My T and I actually had this conversation a few weeks ago. We were joking around about me writing a book about a particular experience and then I suggested it could be made into a movie, which then led to a discussion about who would play who?
So, for my T I've decided Susan Sarandon.
After that discussion I went home and watched Little Women over and over!

I like your thinking, CantExplain!

I'd cast Meryl. Deffo. Something about the depth and warmth of her character. She doesn't look particularly like my T, but then, she doesn't look particularly like Maggie T either

Absolutely! I don't really have that many movies, but I do have that one! Altho I must say my favorite actress in it is Isabella Rossellini - I'm really her mysterious missing third twin!

There is something about Rachel Weisz that reminds me of my therapist, even though my therapist is a red-head and WAY better looking, not that there is anything wrong with the way Rachel Weisz looks.

Mine looks like the mom from the show "Growing Pains" (from the nineties????), Joanna Kerns. I am not sure if she is even acting anymore-maybe she took on a new career as a therapist!

The only famous person my T reminds me is Santa Claus. I don't know why--I think it may be the twinkling eyes or the white beard.
Thanks for this!

Oh my gosh - I just choked and laughed at the same time! Too funny!!!

My T looks like a 50-year-old Ryan Gosling - let's just say he's aged VERY well.
