It's probably important to note that I've been bemoaning the fact that T1 was very funny. He and I had a lot of great laughs.
Well, T2 cracked a joke tonight. ![]() ![]() We had been talking about exposure therapy & he was telling me about a patient's mother asking him if/how he could help her get over her fear of driving in the snow. He explained what he'd do to help her & how she didn't follow through and make an appt for herself. I told him that it was a great example for me, because I was so terrified of driving last year. I had faced that down during the summer/fall. Last winter I felt ready to tackle driving in the snow. But we had a super super light winter last year and it didn't ever really snow. ![]() T2's comment was "If T1's solution for your fear of driving in the snow was to make it NOT SNOW last winter, I REALLLLLY don't think I am going to be able to live up to the expectations that he's set." ![]() ![]() I thought it was cute - funny comment & a nice way to introduce the whole "Waah, you are not T1!!!" thing I'm going through. So yeah, maybe he's not so bad. He's still not T1 though, so let it be known that I have every right to continue to pout. ![]() |
