I've just realised, that apart from my wife and business contacts, there is only one person in the whole world who ever phones me.

Well, one person is a start. It's one more than I have. Perhaps it's my fault. I just don't have the desire to keep in close contact with anyone who I don't genuinely like. I didn't think I was that picky about who I like, but perhaps I am.

There is a great quote out there, not sure who said it, but
"Middle age is when the phone rings on a Saturday night and you hope it isn't for you." Sad thing is, I can relate to the above!!! |

post your number, you'd get a ton of calls.
My phone hardly ever rings, mostly just my mother, my h or my kids. Don't let it bug you too much. Do you do anything with friends? A hobby or something?

I assume that one person is your t? I know the feeling! Mine from the state I just moved from is the only one in that area, besides my parents, who is in touch with me at all. All my so-called friends bailed. Sad!

i JUST MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT, AND HAD INTERNET & CABLE TV INSTALLED ONLY. NO PHONE. i DO HAVE A CHEAP CELL PHONE TO RE-ORDER MY MEDS, DR'S APPT CALLS, ECT.. SILENCE IS GOLDEN.
