I have heard that when a psychologist suggests to a patient that the room is exceedingly cold, the patient will start to shiver. So, is it also possible to hypnotise yourself to health? Maybe cure a fever or treat a flu?

I doubt it. Fever and flu are biological things that the mind has no bearing over. Psychological things maybe yeah. I heard its good for treating addictions.

I'd agree with KazzaX. The perception of cold happens in the mind, and can be triggered by outside temperature or memories or whatnot... but a viral infection is a different matter. I'm completely convinced that you can't hypnotise your way out of that.
