My T is a photographer. He came to my farm to take photos of my animals. He met my husband. wasn't planned but he stepped inside the house for a few minutes. I'm glad came But it was nerve racking.

I have fantasised about having lunch or something with T (like as friends not therapist and patient ) though I wouldn't really want her to come to my house. I do wish she could meet my cat though. My T loves cats She would of course have to come to my house for that to happen though...

For the first year I was seeing T I was living in a really yucky apartment with barely any furniture, and my greatest fear (and goal to get over the fear) at that time was to move to a nicer place. T helped talk me through the process of moving and when I finally did move it was to a much bigger, nicer place. I bought furniture and decorated and took pictures of my living room furniture to show T. My cat was sleeping on the new couch in one picture.

T seemed very interested to see the pictures, and I sometimes think about going around to each room now and taking pictures to show him. But I wouldn't ever do this for real.

One of my other great fears is having any type of visitor to my house. And I worry that when we start working on the fear in T, he might suggest visiting my house himself for a session. I can't imagine him being in my space, so I don't think I would agree.

I'd pee my pants. Occasionally I think about what it might be like to see her out in public, doing her own thing, with friends or whatever, then I realise that I definitely DO NOT want that to happen! It would be a nightmare. I even think running into her pre-session on the street would be awful.

Also there is a bathroom at her practice which has two toilets, the other day I was really busting but I saw her go in and I thought "no that would be weird, I don't want to hear her peeing! or vice versa!" So I took my full bladder elsewhere

So no, having my T come to my house, or running into her, would be horrible. Seeing this person who knows so much about me, in horrible minute detail, out in the real world? ARRRGHHHHHH!!!!

I wish this would happen too! Come in for coffee, show him pictures, my pets, books. I'd love him to meet my dog. That will never happen!

We did go to the same concert though. Unfortunately his seat didn't end up being right beside mine. Imagine?

I used to see my former T around my community fairly often. She once sat next to me at a lecture and I totally panicked! Other times were okay, and of course now that she's not my T anymore, I'm fine when I see her and we can talk almost normally. She in fact did come to my house twice while I was still seeing her as my T. Once was when my father died, and the other was for an open house for a happier occasion. It was kind of strange, but comforting. I liked having her see my house.

I fantasize that I am in my current T's house more than her in mine. I told her about that, how I wished I could meet her H, see her pets, see her artwork, etc. It hurts to think it will never happen.

My t came to my house . She wanted to see where i live and all the things i always tell her about. We went for a walk, i made her lunch, we sat and talked for a few hours. She met my husband, he is a t also. She played with my dogs. I am babysitting her dog so she got to see him again. It was fun. Now when we talk (she is overseas and we skype/ do phone sessions) she knows where i am and says stuff like "did you clean your closet yet!?""
