Hi everyone,
Sorry I have been MIA the past month or so. I had an intake for IOP but I ended up going straight to IP after the intake. Anyway, I'm back at school, and am going to resume seeing my outpatient T, who I really like. But as the title says, I really miss the T I saw when I was IP. Even though I didn't work with her for very long, I got super attached to her. The hospital policy is that I can't have contact with her ![]() Can anyone relate, or have any ideas of what I can do to let go? Thanks! |

Can you discuss this issue with the outpatient T? If not, maybe someone at PC might come up with other ideas. Take care! |

Definitely bring this up with your outpatient T. I had to switch T's 3 months into therapy and I spent at least the first couple of months with my new T working through losing the attachment to my previous T.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has issues with attachment. I talked to my current T today, and it was definitely helpful! |
