Hi everyone,
Sorry I have been MIA the past month or so. I had an intake for IOP but I ended up going straight to IP after the intake.

Anyway, I'm back at school, and am going to resume seeing my outpatient T, who I really like. But as the title says, I really miss the T I saw when I was IP. Even though I didn't work with her for very long, I got super attached to her. The hospital policy is that I can't have contact with her

Can anyone relate, or have any ideas of what I can do to let go?

Thanks!

Welcome back!

Can you discuss this issue with the outpatient T?

If not, maybe someone at PC might come up with other ideas.

Take care!
Thanks for this!

Definitely bring this up with your outpatient T. I had to switch T's 3 months into therapy and I spent at least the first couple of months with my new T working through losing the attachment to my previous T.
Thanks for this!

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has issues with attachment. I talked to my current T today, and it was definitely helpful!
Thanks for this!
