Inspired by people making threads about dreams lately and other related topics :

I keep dreaming (in my sleep) that I protect and nuture my T. When he is sick or sad I comfort him and so on.

Anyone tried this and know what it means?

Yep, I've had a dream like this. Mine was pretty representative of the confusion I was feeling about my T at the time. In it, he was upset about something, and he laid his head against my chest, like a child might, for comfort. In the dream I immediately became really nervous -- my impulse was to comfort and soothe him, but I was afraid that if I did he would get angry (in previous dreams, my attempts to get close to him, whether to comfort him or otherwise, ended with him snapping at me... which was how I was feeling in therapy). I didn't want to move because I wanted him there, and thought that if I made one false motion he'd bite my head off.

What's going on with your T lately? Are you worried about upsetting your T? Have you felt particularly comforted by T, and so you're maybe experiencing a natural extension of that, which is wanting to be able to comfort your T in turn? Sometimes I know vaguely that something is up with my T, whether he's sick or had family trouble or whatever, and I want to help him feel better, but I know I can't. So it evokes a pretty strong desire in me to do it, and sometimes that leaks out in my dreams.

Could it just mean you love your T?

I didn't experience this in a dream, but rather as a repeated image in my mind: sitting next to a hospital bed, my T sleeping, and my stroking his hand.

It seemed to reflect a concern I had about his health and a fear of losing him.

He later did suffer a health crisis, so maybe I was picking up on developing ill health, too.
