I feel relieved that I told the pdoc today I want to stop the zoloft! He suggested taking a break and calling him IF I want to try anything else. I was surprised he said that. He thinks I don't respond or need seritonin but said there are 2 other neurotransmitters. I could try Wellbutrin or something else that I didn't catch the name. He said some do well on Wellbutrin; some don't. I've heard that too.

Anyway, I am SO glad I'm not going to take the zoloft. I will be happy not to feel jittery anymore! He said I could just stop it, and not taper off. I'm not sure I agree, so I may taper it anyway just to be on the safe side.

I told him my T never got a call back when she called him back in January, so he called her and left a very nice message while I was sitting there.

Now, the snow..... It's coming tomorrow and my T doesn't have an alternative day for me to reschedule. Last week I drove in the snow but it could be worse than that: 6 to 10 inches and slippery roads. Of course I don't want to cancel. In a few weeks I'm going away again and will miss 2 MORE sessions. I'll have to see how it is tomorrow.

I hope you feel better off the Zoloft. I'm glad your pdoc works so well with you.

About the snow... give yourself plenty of time to drive slowly and carefully. I hope the roads will be plowed by the time you'll have to be driving on them.
Thanks for this!

It's definitely not worth staying on meds if the side effects are intolerable.

Hopefully the snow holds off, or at least is drivable.
Thanks for this!
