Well, someone asked a question about it a week ago or so. I would search the threads. I'll say that it was very odd for me at first, but T was great at walking me through it. It really, really helped me. There are different ways to do it, but my T moves really close and moves two fingers back and forth like a windshield wiper. Anyway, it really did help me. I recommend it. Google it, and go to the EMDR website. They explain the steps and tell about all the studies that have shown its effectiveness. Good luck!
Thanks for this!

EMDR works. I don't know why but it has brought me to a level of just existing to now I am living and finding moments peace and joy everyday. I am actually thinking about the future with me in it.

Search EMDR in the forums. There is a EMDR therapist that does a great job explaining the process.
Thanks for this!

She suggested it to me at first but later changed her mind because I have a lot of problems staying present during the sessions.
Thanks for this!
