This seems to be a reoccurring theme for many in therapy... the feelings dont match the logic. I usually find for myself, that when my feelings are matching up, there is something deeper that is being triggered. For instance, when I was freaking out about my t and our termination, i realized that the reason I was so upset was not because of a broken promise, although thats why i initially got angry at her... It was because I felt like I was being abandoned, which links back to history of being adopted.

People leaving is part of the natural cycle of life... people come and go. But from your post, it seems like you have a harder time with that than others, and I am wondering if there is an underlying fear beneath it all... just my two cents.
