I find both things comforting. Normal or creepy?

I think it's pretty normal. It's a way to feel connected to your T in between seeing him.
Thanks for this!

A little bit of both but I think it's somewhat expected in the therapeutic relationship
Thanks for this!

Normal. Or at least normal in my mind. Cause while I don't have emails, I do have a picture...... when I first started working with T, I had the picture open on my computer constantly. Now, its more for when I'm feeling really low and needy.

I think it is normal!!! I re-read one of my Ts e-mail all of the time, it is an e-mail in which he tells me that he is going to be in it this for the long haul with me and he isn't going anywhere.. I read it when I need the reminder! I don't believe him when he says it, but it is good to read it over and over again, I think maybe eventually I will actually believe it!

Thank you everyone who answered. I feel better! I tried to 'thank' each post individually, but Tapatalk is being temperamental.

It's called 'object consistency'. A completely normal stage
