My T told me she can't help me cause I don't really have depression. She said my problem was I was seeing things. She said what I really need is just pills to make them go away. I get the feeling she's right.

I don't know if I should find another one. I mean medication might just be the answer.

Could you try the drugs and still see the therapist? A lot of people have both a psychiatrist for the drugs and a therapist too.

If you are indeed dealing with hallucinations or delusions, getting an evaluation and perhaps medical treatment from a pdoc would be an important place to start so that any therapy you do have might be more effective. Not all therapists are trained to deal with these kinds of symptoms if that is what is going on.

Sometimes depression gets so bad that people do see things or hear things. Treatment with medication helps reduce those symptoms. Unipolar depression, bipolar depression, and post-partum depression can get severe enough that delusions and hallucinations occur. Did she refer you to a psychiatrist?
