Hi all I been on lithium for over a year but suddenly I started experiencing skipping heart beats I went to my gp she says I have a heart murmer but it shouldn't bother me so I stopped lithium first to see which one of my meds was doing it and the skipping decreased dramatically. So I been off it for three days my pdoc will see me on Monday to change to topomax. I'm Bp 1 mostly on hypo and manic so guys wish me luck as I'm been feeling a little hypo

I went from lithium to topamax as well. I think the topamax was a good decision for me and I hope it will be for you. I have since, moved on to different medications. Good Luck.

Topamax gave me the dumb. When I was on it I had trouble recalling words and had trouble spelling.

Hi Sweepy,
I have been on Topamax for 4 years for my migraines and without them my migraines would be very severe, I do recall at the beginning having tingling in my fingers and feet but I find them really good and I lost weight with them too. Good luck. |
