I think my Health T is doing CMT with me but I'm not sure.
He says that he sees my biggest issues being severe anxiety and self criticism

I thought CMT was only group-based? (compassionate mind training)

Sorry if I missed a previous thread on this. Just wondering if anyone has done this, especially in individual therapy? Thanks!

You know, Tigergirl, I'm not sure what techniques he in employing but sometimes is has felt like cbt but then I found this:

and he keeps referring to my self-criticism as my most obvious issue right after anxiety.
A lot of this stuff in these articles seems similar things he has said. I had never heard of it!

I'd ask him! See if there's any workbooks or anything so you can work faster?
