I think my Health T is doing CMT with me but I'm not sure.
He says that he sees my biggest issues being severe anxiety and self criticism I thought CMT was only group-based? (compassionate mind training) Sorry if I missed a previous thread on this. Just wondering if anyone has done this, especially in individual therapy? Thanks! |

You know, Tigergirl, I'm not sure what techniques he in employing but sometimes is has felt like cbt but then I found this:
https://webspace.utexas.edu/neffk/pu...rt.Procter.pdf and Introducing compassion-focused therapy and he keeps referring to my self-criticism as my most obvious issue right after anxiety. A lot of this stuff in these articles seems similar things he has said. I had never heard of it! |

I'd ask him! See if there's any workbooks or anything so you can work faster?
