You're talking, you begin to drift off into a past time and you're THERE again and T is saying "where you gone? Can you try and put words to it?" And after flicking in & out of memory you manage to describe where 'you've gone too'. A memory but this time all the unbearable feelings are part of the memory. No longer just a reporting memory, a vision with no sense, but you remember the feelings! You say, " it felt like I was running, I was running on fire, I was staggering drunk and noticing faces walking past me, and it was like I was full of hard stones, lots and lots of pebbles. It feels disorientating. My mind is flashing in and out of it. But, the feelings, it's like, ****! Everything's suddenly real. I remember those feelings now. How did I ever survive them? T says after a short silence "how are you feeling now?" I say "I'm not sure. Shocked at the memory, the feeling memory." - T says "but it feels a relief too?" - I say, yeah, yeah, I think so.
I leave session remembering the saying FEAR = Face Everything And Recover.

Face Everything And Recover... I liked that one, thanks.

I hope you can turn your fear around and head towards recovery soon.

Madame T sometimes asked "Where have you gone?"
By contrast, Mr T just waits for me to come back.

I do. But it is also true that different Ts have different styles.

It is. But that point has nothing to do with my post. You seem to want to inject an agenda into other people's experiences I find.
