I really wish they had one for when you are about to binge/purge or self harm. Lord I am feeling so low right now.

This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.

I haven't used this one, but did use a local crisis online chat a few times ... my experience of the one I used wasn't so good though and it kept seeming like they must be multitasking and responding to several people in different windows because there kept being about five minutes or more delay with each response when it was meant to be instant chat

I hope you find something that helps

I've used them a few times. All depends on who you get connected to. The helped a lot with the self harm and some processing when I can't get in touch with my t. It will tell you which center they connect you to, and I really liked baton rouge, but not another one I got one time. Sometimes they have connection issues in their end. They would talk about ed and sh and many other issues. I still go back there if I'm in a tough spot (especially now that I have a new t whom I don't trust yet).
They route you to different crisis centers depending on availability. They are worth a try

the crisis center here where I live is part of this system. I do not use this system itself but have called various crisis centers in the state many times in the past. I found them to be very helpful no matter why I called them.
