I have recently started seeing a psychologist after ending up in hospital for major depression. Things have been going well but now she has to move overseas.
I feel like I have to start over again. It is discouraging. I had problems with my previous psychologist, it felt like I was making no progress. I struggle to trust people, so this has thrown me a bit. Does anyone have advice how to handle this? ![]() |

Sorry your psychologist is moving away. When you see her again, tell her how you are feeling, maybe she can suggest another psychologist for you to carry on with.

I was going to suggest you ask for a referral, too.

This would be discouraging. I know it is hard for me to build trust also. Maybe she knows of another psychologist who would be a good fit for you to begin seeing after she moves.
