Hi guys, it's me again.

I've been participating in the groups at this residential facility and I've been very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy them and benefit from working with a group of people.

I can also really see why I did need to take time off from school to do this and why I should be in a residential place. It's a lot harder than I expected. Something happened today that triggered an INTENSE flashback and I dissociated and it took a LOT of assistance from my case worker and the other therapists on staff and about three hours to stabilize the situation. I think I was triggered by attempting to face an emotion or something. I don't remember.

But yeah. Things are a little better for me and I am hopeful it will continue getting better despite it being difficult/triggering.

SO glad to hear you're doing ok! And glad to hear you are accepting treatment, and have a group of people who are dedicated to helping you get better.

This is so wonderful to hear! There will be times that feel awful, but at least it's awful in the service of getting better. I hope you are proud of yourself because you have every reason to be.
