HOWEVER: There are a lot of South Australia State Parks that stop at the border. Roads on the Victoria side stop when they get to the PARK, which is also the state line.

Likewise, there are a lot of roads that FOLLOW the state line, precisely because then run along the edge of the state park.

To the untrained eye, it all looks very suspicious, but there is a rational explanation.

So do I, except I hear it to the tune of Bridge over Troubled Water.

O.K. T wasn't as bad as thought we just caught up on the last 6 weeks I haven't seen him. We talked about the way his leave affected me. its a bit vague as I started to dissociate after he said the words "abusive" in relation to my childhood while he was explaining the pdocs letter and when he said "abandonment" in relation to my reaction to his leave. But not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be thanks pocket riders.

I haven't heard Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport for years and probably will never again after Rolf Harris' arrest.

Hi everyone...

Trying to sing Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport to the tune of Bridge Over Troubled Water. I think it's either too early or I'm musically retarded, because I can't get it. BUT, now I have Amazing Grace in the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme song in my head.

Sorry so many of you had difficult T sessions yesterday. I am here if anyone wants to talk.
MKAC, that was a good idea about having T leave a vm. I hope it helps.
Mast, I hope T responds today.
Granite, how do you feel about that? Your mother is a sadist as far as I am concerned. I hate how she treated/treats you.
Squirrel, I think that $10/month is more than worth it. FWIW, when I took ap's I found the older ones to work better than the new fangled ones. I do hope the new one works well for you though.
BPA...you should be proud of yourself for how you handled your t's leave.

Lola...where are you?
MUE???
Jerz...how was T?

Morning Wiki, I'm here just extremely mentally exhausted. I'm in a development meeting all week with programmers and convertion teams and I'm having to make tough decisions and I'm steadily pissing people off. And it's not my nature to have to be continuously a hard *****. Thanks for checking on me.

Morning couch.

I was so exhausted last night (and Monday night) after the "little darlings" or as one of the teacher's I help calls them, the "little s h i t s" were wild as anything and destroyed the room.

I talked to T about it yesterday and she thought that it was "too much" for me to handle and I should request to be moved to a different classroom if it happens again. I'm not sure how the school would take that. Pdoc said it too, so maybe they are right and I am in denial. I really don't want to admit to the school that I see a T and pdoc, but how else would I be able to move to a different classroom? I would have to say who wants me moved, so it didn't look like I was complaining. I don't know. Hopefully it will not happen again.

I can't believe that T thought I should have brought Liskers into session again. I dunno...it feels weird to bring in a toy. I did once and now she thinks I should every time? Hmmm. Maybe next time...if I remember.

Well, I need to go pack my lunch and take my morning meds, so I can leave for work in about 15 minutes. I hope everyone has a decent day.

Pleae let the kids be calm today.

I think it's muscle relaxers and another day in bed for this wiki. I will conquer this lower back pain. Have any of you had a chiro make the pain WAY worse? Mine did. Maybe it was a bad chiro, but he didn't crack me or anything, he uses the Activator method?

I know it's just muscular, but it drains you to be aching all the time. And it makes my legs hurt.

Sorry I am always griping about physical crap. I have to have the least functional body on the couch. My arms still work though, so I call first dibs on rocking the newborn baby.

Speaking of newborns....I got to see and hold my itty bitty niece over the weekend. (for the newbies, she was premature 1lb baby who almost didn't make it) She is technically 5 mos old, but physically only about 2 months. She's 10 lbs now...so cute, and strong. What a little fighter. She is home with mom and dad, and living a happily ever after.

Wiki, that sucks about your back. I hope another day or two of rest helps! My chiro would make things worse once in a great while. Ever since I was diagnosed with herniated discs in my neck last year, I wonder if it was anything she did. She never did do x-rays or MRI before she started working on my neck, though, so I'll never know.

My best friend and I had a good talk last night. Lots of tears, but I think we're going to be okay. I certainly hope so anyway.

I'm really wary of chiropractors, personally. I have seen naprapaths from time to time (have had chronic back pain since I was 8 years old) but, at least in this country, chiropractors just don't have the education I want from somebody in whose hands I'll put my back. In a literal sense. :-) Naprapaths have a five-year education, and have to have a licence to practice, while anybody can set up as a chiropractor - again, that's how it is here. My T has recommended a physiotherapist because my back pain is making daily life really hard for me, but I can't quite make myself go undress in front of a stranger who'll judge me.

Er, sorry, didn't mean to turn this into Mastodon whining session. I hope you will conquer the pain, wikid. Think of Mr Darcy. It does drain you of energy to be in pain.

It's so great to hear about your niece... I remember how worried we all were, back when.

In the US, chiros have 4 years undergraduate college and then a 4 year graduate degree in chiro school, just as physicians do. They are licensed by the state in which they practice. They hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, so they're pretty well educated. Even so, there are those who don't do such a great job.

I deal with chronic pain, but I've never seen a chiropractor. I've got both a drug pump and a neurostimulator implanted in my upper backside for nerve pain in my ribs and for lower to mid back pain. Honestly, I'm too afraid they'll mess up my implants more than they'd help me. I don't know that I could handle them cracking or manipulating me, whether I had the implants or not. I've never even had a massage. My DH sees a chiropractor and says he gets help from them, so who knows. He was a skeptic before seeing them and now believes in their work and will recommend them to everyone.

Hope you feel better soon Wiki. Great news about your niece too.

Mast, the physical therapists here don't make you undress, they just make you walk to see if you're in balance. And I hate chiropractors who use that popper thing - some still don't. But I have been getting almost the same results on myself with vigorous self-massage, heat, and ibuprofen. You just have to be sure to massage both sides, like of your back, because the muscles of the opposite side from the injury are having to compensate. And also heat them.

My chiropractor won't adjust people without X-rays. If they balk at the price, he discounts it until they agree. He caught a major problem with one of my Dad's arteries that way and saved him from dying from an aneurism. My chiro is amazing and I trust him completely.

Hi all. I hope this is okay to ask. I have a new thread up in survivors of abuse, and would appreciate any feedback. I don't think that it should be triggering. It is about something going on in group for me right now. The link is: http://forums.psychcentral.com/survi...ml#post3409440

Wikid - I hope that the pain eases soon. Is there another chiropractor you can try if this one isn't helping?

Critter - I am glad that things seem to be getting better with your friend. Perhaps this will end up building a stronger bond between the two of you.

Hi to Healed, SD, Can't, MKAC, Squirel, Photo, Lola, Ready, MUE, Jersey, Apt, Granite, Hankster, BPA, and anyone else around. I hope everyone is having a good day / night.

Yet another new couple in my closest circle of friends - which means two more friends lost to me. I'm happy for them, I am, but I now have absolutely nobody in RL I could possibly confide in. (I guess that's how it is for most people though?)

And at choir, the conductor still hasn't done anything about the thing that had me leave the rehearsal in a panic, a couple of weeks ago. So much for "your opinion matters and you are important to the choir".

And no word from T.
