Hey guys, I thought I posted this a few days ago, but I can't find it, so I likely effed it up.
![]() Anyway, I'm relocating from Northern VA to Houston TX (yay!!!) and I would like anyone who is in the area to give me names of non-profits where you can get therapy on a sliding scale similar to the center here where I've been getting help the last several months. Or if you have the name of therapists who work on a sliding scale treating depression/ family issues and grief, please feel free to contact me or respond to this thread. Thanks.

I don't have a clue because I don't live there, but a simple internet search might work at least to get some ideas. I did one and just looked at the first entry. Something called the Houston Galveston Institute. There are reviews by people who used it and even referred other people there. It specifically mention financial needs. Just search "Houston therapy sliding scale" and read around a little.
