Bueno inspired me to write this post because she has been so brave with her words and reaching out for support through her recent crisis.

I've thought a lot about being brave with my words this year. I talked about that with my T and the next week she "gave" me this song. I set it as her ringtone when she calls me and I replay it in my head for inspiration. It has helped me quite a bit but I'm still a work in progress.

Rainbow, I'm very happy that you find my song inspirational. I was hoping someone might find it as helpful as I do. In some sessions, when I'm having difficulty sharing, the words
"Say what you wanna say, let the words fall out. Honestly, I want to hear you be brave," start playing in my head. Sometimes, it actually works. Thanks for the group hug. I appreciate it.

I really like this song. Thanks for sharing!

I do think that music can have a certain motivational power. I know that I have used songs before to help me imagine being brave as well. After a long time of doing this, when I needed to be brave, I was able to just think of the song, and I would actually feel much more confident!
Thanks for this!

I agree. Music is like a drug for me. I've also used in not so positive ways. Certain songs can feed my Neurotic behaviors too, such as SIB. I've gotten a lot better at just using it for it's positive influence.
I'm glad you liked the song!!! Thanks for listening.
