I can imagine you are frustrated. You are calling to set up an appointment with her?

You might try looking online for a therapist, or calling your Medicaid insurance provider to ask for a list of therapists in your area. You can also call psychoanalytic institutes and ask for referrals: there is one in Cleveland and you can Google "psychoanalytic training institutes" to find more. Or, settle in with the phone book, a cup of tea, pen and paper.. and start calling. Find a few that will take your Medicaid card, then call each one and see if one seems to be what you are looking for.

Come and vent here to help with your frustration!

Here is an interesting and informative site to visit also: www.aboutpsychotherapy.com

you might try local crisis centers. I know I have had great outcomes by working with places like planned parenthood, rape crisis centers and domestic violence agencies all of which do therapy on for abuse, depression and so on. and the best part is they are nationwide and free services. no matter which state and town I lived in I was always able to recieve counseling services through those agencies.
