I thought I had been doing well. Couple more weeks before I see T again. I miss T so much but I didn't think I would. Feeling out of touch and sad. Scared that when I do see T I won't talk. .

I'm sorry you are having such a rough time missing your T. You have learned that you do miss T even though you thought you would not; the being scared you won't talk when you do see her again will probably be like that too. Things are often not like we imagine they will be, we're not very good predictors of the future :-)

When I would see my T after she was gone for a long time, I'd be more quiet/angry at first but after a few sentences most of that would melt away and it would all be similar to what it normally was. I never had any permanent problems with my T being away other than in my head/imagination. That taught me to not pay so much attention to my worries, that I might as well imagine good things happening as bad ones since I wasn't very good at matching what I imagined might happen with what it was really like.

Hi Lightcatcher.

It's hard when you miss your t, it's almost like a longing.

Be proud of how you've done up to now and trust yourself. Stay in the present.

Thanks for this!
