As I reported on here before, I search Google on my T. My feeling is if it's on the Internet its free for anyone to see. I also said the same thing to my T but she just say there and didn't say anything. But that's another discussion and not the purpose of my post.

I recently saw 3 different pictures of her and her family. Perhaps a year time span. I do not feel its a coincidence, she is always hiding behind one of her kids. She's only 5'3" tall.

She use to be a lot heavier as I saw a picture of her and her family from a few years ago. She is thin now and should be proud of her weight loss.

This actually makes me feel better as she is more "human". I would never say anything to her about it but you guys are the only ones I can share it with!

Thanks!
Thanks for this!

It's nice to know Ts are human

I don't know of any woman that hasn't had body image issues at one point or another.

I wouldn't necessarily jump to conclusions based on a few pictures. I can't imagine most parents standing in front of their kids for a picture, personally.

I do understand wanting to see the humanity and imperfections in a T though; I've definitely been there.

No, I'm not expecting her to stand in front of her kids, but next to so they are side by side.

It's nice that you feel you can relate to your T. But I think you're reading a little into this. It sounds to me like those are normal family pictures. Someone with body image issues (especially if it's a therapist) might not be posting those pictures online at all.
Thanks for this!

Yes. I have kids and almost always stand behind, not next to, the smaller ones. Its just the way parents tend to pose with small kids, I think you are reading too much into it.

She's not posting them. Mainly it's her kids school. Like I said, she's only 5'3, 2 out of 3 kids are taller than her. The youngest is 12 who is almost as tall. In the last picture, she was standing behind her oldest and all you saw was a head of hers.

I really don't think this is a conincidence. In T she always has a shawl wrapped around her even in the summer. She claims she's cold as I have mentioned this a few times to her.

If it is her kids' school, I would think that she would be behind her children so they could be the stars of whatever they are doing. She is not part of that world so would not want to be equal/side-by-side I do not think. I would look for pictures she has posted or in other situations where the children are not the purpose of the photo or I would talk about it with her and ask her. I know I made an assumption about my T outside of the therapy room that was wrong for 25 years and might have made a difference if I had mentioned it earlier in therapy.
