Definitely some sort of contact in between sessions. Maybe also working on coping skills, or a third party you can talk to if you need.

When people ask me if there's anything they can do for me, I usually ask them to tell me what are some of the things they think they might be able to do? Otherwise, I feel that it's too vague, and I don't really know what to ask for.

Can you ask her what she thinks she might be able to do that she thinks would be helpful?

I think it is most unlikely that a T would give you cash. At most, she might waive her fee for a few sessions.
