ME that's who!!!!

Wow. What a day. So yesterday I met for DBT and was telling T about the whole health insurance situation; she said I should still contact old T and try and work something out b/c she didn't feel comfortable letting me go with no treatment.
So I emailed old T last night; I told her I was allowed to go back to her and would be finishing up DBT on March 26. I told her I would have no insurance but was willing to see her 2x/month at a slightly reduced rate (which even then would be hard for me.) She emailed me back this morning and said that of course she would work with me, that what I was suggesting sounded reasonable, and that she was glad I was doing so much better.
THEN a couple hours after T emailed me back I got called into my boss's office. My two supervisors said they had talked to HR and gotten me health insurance AND ten paid sick/personal days!!! I was SO happy; I have a meeting with the benefits woman tomorrow. SOOOO amazing!!! It is crazy how much better I am doing and I am very very proud of myself and also cannot wait to see old T. When I first left her, I though that 6 months was so long and I felt that I would never see her again, but it doesn't seem like that long. Probably b/c I thought about old T everyday and so I never forgot about her, so going back to her feels very natural for me.

Yeah congrats. I am sure it is a relief for you knowing that you have insurance so you get the care that best fits you and money isn't the issues.!!
