My T charges on a sliding scale. I currently pay £20 per session, but I normally pay £35 a session.
The prices in this area are normally between £30 and £60 a session.

How much do you pay for a session?

SEK 300 (which I think is approx 45 US dollars) per session until I reach SEK 1100, and after that it's fully covered for a year so I don't have to pay anything, unless I miss a session - cancellations cost SEK 300.

Edited to add: my therapist is also a pdoc, that's why it is (basically) free.

Therapy for free? Or pdoc?
Pdoc is for free in my country but it's just 15 minutes. How long is your session?

Are you trying to figure out what he's earning now?
Mine takes $100+ per hour for therapy but he's a pdoc too and often provides his services for almost nothing to people in distressed financial positions via community programs he's involved with. I don't mind paying so much knowing that, I'm not sure why but still.

Is this question for me? If yes, I didn't understand it.
I'm paying 25 euro for session, I don't know how much it is in dollars but I will calculate it when I'll be at home.

It depends on therapist. In my country are some psychologists for free for hour and psychiatrist for free for 15 minutes. There is possibility to go to student of psychology or therapy and pay less. Maybe something similar is in other countries too

My Pdoc is my therapist. I see him through a special clinic so he doesn't charge me for sessions. I see him anywhere from 15-20 minutes through to an hour at a time, depending on what I need.

I don't pay anything for the pdoc nor my T... my T works at the hospital and is a social worker. I live in Canada... I also have a psychologist who would be available to me through my work health plan, but he's only in town once a month and I prefer my T.

*Gulp*
But having choked on my coolaid I too am at the higher end (relatively) just once a week and I really feel like it's worth every cent. I believe it saves time, money and heartache by having an experienced T that hits the target without too many missed shots along the way. I suppose you can get that at the more pocket friendly end too but it's not an area I want to spend time kissing frogs in if you get me.
