I was wondering if anyone on here has a Therapist with the name of anyone famous (or even semi-famous like I had), I know that no one wants to give exact names (and neither do I) of their Therapists so if you just say an actor or a basketball player that would be good (and appropriate).

The Therapist who I saw for 4 years shared a name with a singer however it was not a well known singer (sort of a Indie singer who often performs with one other person) in fact I didn't even know who she was until I did a Google search on my Therapist (although when I listen to some of her music I did like it a lot . Although I guess if your Therapist shares a name with someone who is very famous than I guess it is a little hard to do a Google search on them .

My T has the same name as a clinical psychology professor in a different state. It's a rare name that translates to "friend who sits a lot."

I wonder if they were destined to their profession from birth?

It's interesting that you say that because I knew 2 doctors with the same last name (although I'm not sure if they had the same first name) one was a Pediatric Doctor, the other was an Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctor (who did an operation on my ears when I was young), and I got the 2 mixed up all the time. For my first Primary Pediatric Doctor I didn't know another doctor with the same last name as me but he had the most common English last name (Smith).

not exactly however, T has the same first name and shortened version of a famous designer. If you google T's name the most of the results are from the designers page.

With my case the singer typically had her name listed with another person "i.e. xxxxxx and (her name)" so anytime I wanted to do a search I just typed -xxxxxx and that took away most of those results.

My therapist shares his name with a software developer in the same city, if memory serves me right. I share my name with a fashion model, to my great amusement.

My T's brother was semi-prominent internationally so that was awkward at times when she would take off and be involved in his life -- all that without it ever being discussed between us that it was her brother and that he was semi-prominent :-) I still remember after several years seeing her when she explained she'd be gone a couple weeks because she was going to a wedding in Bangkok and I started singing Murry Head's little tune and she was fascinated, had never heard it. Of course, I cannot sing and don't know many of the words on my own, so. . . I was a bit embarrassed.

Mine shares a name with a D/F list actor. Or maybe not even that. I just know that he has an IMDB page, and thought it was my T at first when googling...haha.

My t shares a name with someone famous because she is famous, actually. But no one in the public knows what a total geek she is! Everyone thinks she is so wise and amazing... I tell her i know better cuz i have seen there real her too often
