Sometimes I want to scream "stop being so nice to me!" It's frustrating. It says a lot about your experiences when you're more comfortable with abuse than compassion. I hope that will change for you.

Yes....I told my T I would prefer he be more harsh with me. I told him some part of me wants him to yell at me. To get mad at me. I basically told him his "niceness" grates on my nerves.

Instead, he continues to be pleasant, professional, empathetic and just caring as all heck /:

I actually told Madame T I wanted her to be more angry with me. In retrospect, I'm not so sure that was a good idea...
