Ok, officially on my own. =\\
Now this is stupid. I haven't talked to this woman for 58 years. I've only known her since January. You would think I should be able to handle it for two friggin' weeks! |

Hi Precaryous... Sorry you've got to wait so long to see your T again... I know sometimes a couple weeks can feel like *forever*. Do you have anything you can do to distract yourself and help time maybe go by a tiny bit faster?

Vacations suck, I imagine especially so since you've just gotten a diagnosis that shook you up.
I find it helpful to write letters to my therapist in my journal, and I've sometimes scheduled a vacation of my own at the same time, to try and rest and recharge myself. Keeping busy does help. |

Thank you Miguel'sMom, guilloche and CameraObscura. I will think of something. If the weather cooperates I can take my grandkidlet swimming...that usually lifts my mood.
PresentT asked me to make notes about the questionable diagnosis (which I believe I have)...and my feelings surrounding that. We are still getting to know each other...there's stuff she still doesn't know. I could write or journal some of those things. That would help maintain the connected feeling with her. I would sit outside more but it's too hot for that right now. I could read a few of the books I have been saving. I have heart failure which limits my exercise ability. There's a bunch of medical things going on with me...I guess they makes me more anxious. ![]() |
