I really miss my therapist. He's on vacation for 3 weeks. I'm really tempted to email him it's so hard. I feel so silly

Hello, Tangerine87. Do not feel silly. Use the coping skills you have learned. Take it a day at a time. The days will pass. You can do it.

What if you wrote letters instead of email? Mail them to the office or just keep them in a drawer until the therapist is back.

Can you type up an email and just not send it yet? Maybe send it when he gets back and you can talk about it then? And don't feel silly at all for missing him!

I was tempted to email my therapist when she was on vacation too. But I didn't feel silly for it. Now that we finally have an appointment coming up, I'm nervous and that I feel silly for.
