It is as much about feeling heard I suppose? You obviously feel you need the attention so don't be so hard on yourself maybe

We all need to be heard and cared about (i.e. get "attention" from someone). If you don't have someone in your life who can consistently do that, I think a T is very appropriate. Hopefully, you're getting even MORE than that though... hopefully you're learning how you can be in a relationship like that, so you can (eventually, maybe?) find more good relationships outside of T.
I think? I'm still trying to figure it out too! But 100% agree - don't be hard on yourself. I think therapy is a good thing... it helps you sort out all your stuff... which is good! |

That's part of the problem. I am not interested in relationships outside of therapy. My homework for the holiday weekend was to do one thing that was fun. Did I do that? Heck, I never even got dressed. I just want to go and talk and leave. But thanks for the encouragement. I hate it when other folks get on here and whine. Don't want to do that.
