I hate being singled out...I feel like I am at the mercy of others....

Doctors always single me out because they tell me stuff they don't tell others. They tell me stuff that it's not normal to see porn, and it's not normal to drink alcohol, or it's not normal to lie in all day. so if others do it, and they are healthy, I am not? if so, they're welcome to section me...i don't care....they have to prove it's an illness per their own medical texts....

People always single me out for behaviour that is normal for most in the world. i have some biases, and then somebody would say "don't be judgmental!" but then sooooooo many people are! what makes me special?

i don't really want to go to a therapist, because s/he will say stuff to me that will dismiss and say it's a pathology....like once I told one in response to how i'm feeling "well I have a high sex drive because i just want a companion" and she said "people don't have sex". Yet I guarantee they say to all others "awww...well it's normal". again, why am I at the mercy of others?

it's like everything is a giant circle. i bet somebody will say in response "suck it up". OK, so the norms of society don't apply to me, who says one must suck it up?

So the mental attitude for this post/sentiment is but I bet if another posts it is is

Anything normal can become unhealthy if it starts taking over your life. Maybe that's what they meant?

You sound like you're surrounded by terrible doctors.

I'm not there, so I don't know for sure, but is it possible that you are mind-reading or assuming things they're not actually saying?

No, I know what they say.

I dunno, I'm just being mopey lol..... Maybe my own thoughts on how medical professionals operate is skewed. I always thought they did their job without bias or favour, but seems I was wrong.
